Privacy

Art & I is a free guide to museums, galleries and art fairs. This page says what we collect when you use it, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address and password, or your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google.
• Your profile. Anything you add: name, username, bio, mobile number, and your time zone, which your browser tells us so reminders arrive in the morning.
• What you do on the site. Shows you save, venues you follow, places you mark as visited, and your reminder settings.
• What you publish. Reviews, ratings, comments, likes and photos. These are public unless you mark them private or turn on anonymous mode.
• Listing requests. The venue details and contact email you send us.

How we use it

• To run your account and show you your calendar, lists and reviews.
• To send the reminders you asked for: a show you saved is closing, or a venue you follow is opening something. At most one message a day.
• To reply to listing requests and messages you send us.
• To keep the site working and stop abuse.

Text messages

If you add a mobile number and tick the box to get reminders by text, we send reminder texts about the shows and venues you chose, at most one a day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of using Art & I.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to send the reminders you asked for.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of services to run the site. Each only gets what it needs to do its job:

• Supabase and Lovable host the site and its database.
• Resend delivers our emails.
• Twilio delivers our text messages.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We keep a sign-in cookie so you stay logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

• Edit your profile, or switch reminders off, on your profile page at any time.
• Every reminder email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Delete any review, comment or photo you posted.
• Delete your account and everything in it from the bottom of your profile page. It happens straight away.
• For a copy of what we hold about you, email hello@artandi.org. We will send it within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you have an account. When you delete it, we remove your profile, lists and reviews. Our email and text providers may keep delivery logs for a short time after that.

Children

Art & I is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
